Tony Soprano is Dead
spoiler alert: the title of this post contains information pertaining to the ending of The Sopranos.
He's dead, the cutting to black was his death and I'm sure of it. It was referenced in a previous episode. "What do you think happens when you die?" "Everything goes black," was the answer.
Members Only jacket on the guy walking into the washroom? Is that not a mob hint and a reference to the title of a previous episode where Tony is shot?
Meadow parking forever outside? This was no accident. She witnessed her family's death.Tony, of course, was first. She lived because she was the only morally decent member of the family.
Ten seconds of black? That tells me the black's the thing. Five seconds? Maybe an abrupt end to an episode. Ten seconds? That makes it more than black. The black is a bullet through the head. The black is the end of Tony's life.
It's not about life having loose ends, the fucker is dead I'm telling you. Dead!
People lining up to cancel their HBO, give me a break. It's brilliant. What other series finale has had people talking days later?

Well, Well, Well..
I watched the last episode and at the end was like WTF? it was too much of a *leavin ya hanging* ending, however, now that i have read this james, i DO remember the reference to everthing going black! holy crap! you have shed the light when before there was only darkness!! :)
and what in the hell w/ meadow taking so long to park? i was certain that the reason had to be because tony was getting whacked and she wouldn't witness the actual event.. or the whole family was shot or something crazy like that!!
thank you james for an explination to my confusion! you are my hero!
