RIDERS, CBC, HDTV...

I guess the blackout wasn't lifted after all. CBC couldn't even put up a decent scroll to explain the sudden loss of broadcast. They could have stayed with the coverage like CKRM by phone with a still image up.

Just to clarify, because some people think CBC never came back after the delay, CBC HD stayed with the movie, and CBC standard definition channels came back with the game after the 55 minute delay. We were watching HD but had the sense to check out the standard CBC channels.

This was my first viewing of a CFL game in HD on CBC and I'm disappointed they didn't provide 5.1 surround sound. It makes a BIG difference to the experience.
